From Mountain Vista High School:

No matter who eventually teaches in this program they must get along with one another and genuinely want to be on the team.  This cannot be forced on anyone. Also, whoever is selected to be a part of the team must be willing to attend the Create Something Great Summer Think Tank (D-School Boot Camp put on by the Stanford Design School) and spend time during the summer to plan.

From Rocky Heights Middle School:

Rocky Heights is already on its way to Personalized Learning as a school.  In year one (2014-2015) the staff, students, and community have embraced a 1:1 Technology initiative, have been trained using PBL (Project Based Learning), and experimented with flipped classrooms and blended learning using technology to enhance instruction as well as engagement and learning.  Teachers have been working to build a suite of resources for students to learn anytime-anywhere including online library resources for research and reading, CompassLearning, Discovery Techbook, Google Classroom, Edmodo, and much more.  As the staff winds the year down much reflection and rethinking has begun to occur.  Momentum gained, next year Rocky Heights hopes to pick up where they left off and hit the ground running!
